Solaris 10 işletim sisteminde SNMPv3 konfigürasyonu yapmak için aşağıdaki 3 adımın tamamlanması gerekiyor:
1. /etc/sma/snmp/snmpd.conf dosyasının düzenlenmesi
vi /etc/sma/snmp/snmpd.conf
syscontact, syslocation bilgilerini düzenleyin
rocommunity ve rwcommunity satırlarını #‘leyin
Dosyanın sonuna master agentx satırını ekleyin
When I run smt-ncc-sync command for getting data from the Novell Customer Center and update the local SMT database, I got an error like this:
Assume that you are sharing your E drive at your windows PC and you want to mount this sharing to /mnt directory at your Linux machine.
So you may execute this command at Linux shell:
mount -t cifs //192.168.1.1/E /mnt -o user=emreyasar
PS: 192.168.1.1 is IP of Windows machine.
You can find hardware information by typing the command below:
/usr/platform/`uname -i`/sbin/prtdiag -v
For processor information run this command:
/usr/sbin/psrinfo -v
At some situation, you may need to set some password setting different than global settings.
For example, if you want to set a password valid time parameter for a user class, named GenericUser, you can use this command
/opt/boksm/sbin/boksadm -S classadm -e -u GenericUser pswvalidtime=365
This command makes password expiration time for GenericUser user class to 365 days.
After running this command you may verify the change by typing
/opt/boksm/sbin/boksadm -S classadm -s -u GenreicUser

Bu yetkilendirmeyi bazen emre@192.168.1.1 bazen de emre@testserver.ford.com.tr şeklinde tanımlarız.

System admins frequently get “device is busy” error while trying to umount a partition.
Probably you are getting rid of this problem by using “umount -f” comand at the end of your patience i think.
But I advise you being more polite while working around umount command.
